FALLING IN LOVE WITH OURSELVES - HEALING THE SHAME THAT LIMITS US
In this workshop led by mindfulness expert, Nick, we explore the roots of shame and how to bring healing to ourselves so we can live happier lives without the negative impact shame can have on our mental health. The workshop starts by exploring the concept of 'minority stress' and how this impacts on us as we grow up. The concept is made accessible through the facilitator sharing a few stories from his own life that illustrate how minority stress impacts on a person. This then allows others to silently reflect on how their experience of being 'other' has impacted on them.
HERE THERE EVERYWHERE - THE LGBTQ+ HISTORY OF THE WORLD
A lively romp through some highlights of LGBT history led by Rikki Beadle-Blaire MBE - taking in Ancient Greece, (obvs) Egypt, 1930's Germany, Native Americans, Shakespeare, Persian poets, Regency, the World Wars, the New York and LA gay riots, Alan Turing breaking the nazi morse-code, Little Richard, Andy Warhol, George Michael, and Rupaul. From the clothes you wear to the slang you use, you are about to find out just how gay you are.
This session is designed to introduce people to sleep. What is it, why do we need it, what does good sleep look like (sleep architecture), why is quantity as important as quality, and what can affect our sleep.

What They're Saying
“We were looking to organise an event dedicated to the physical and emotional wellbeing of our sales teams. After hearing very positive feedback about MobFit, i got in touch with Rob and Mark who took the time to fully understand our team, and built customised content and activities which answered our challenges perfectly. Two months after the event, we have seen great improvement on wellbeing with people implementing better diet and being more intentional with their exercising routine.”Gauthier GilbertSales Manager, Marketing Solutions at Google
“Your session ‘Move’ as part of our ‘iChallenge Myself’ Resilience & Wellbeing session went down phenomenally well, and we received outstanding formal and informal feedback form our delegates.Your session was really informative, but more than that, the energy and enthusiasm with which you delivered it (several times over!) was fantastic. I thought the way you engaged the audience was first rate, and the simple, practical, ‘bite sized’ tips and exercises you gave our clients was pitch perfect for the event and exactly in line with our brief. As all of our delegates were busy business people and frequent business travellers I am sure they will all be following your tips to help keep themselves balanced, as I do! The fun and humour you injected into the session was the cherry on the cake.”Danny TaggartDirector of Global Workforce at Deloitte
“The Mobfit nutrition course has been great fun, the whole team really enjoyed it. Mark’s mixture of science, common sense and his focus on our individual needs meant we could each set realistic, achievable goals and integrate healthier choices into our day to day lives. Personally, I’ve learnt how to keep energy levels up during the working day and fuel my workouts more effectively, something I’ve struggled with for a while – rumbly tummy during yoga class is never a good look. Each session, from gut health to hangovers, sparked a lively discussion and kicked off a trend towards more positive eating habits in the office – we’ve got wonky fruit on delivery and kefir in the fridge! Mark’s enthusiasm for nutrition is infectious and his homemade snacks are delicious! I’d highly recommend the course and look forward to the next one.”Emily ClayfieldSenior Consultant at Builtvisible
