It's Bank Holiday Monday, and many of us will be choosing to spend this day with family and friends.

Like with many family gatherings, occasionally there can be heated moments or difficult situations that can arise, and it can be all too easy to respond emotionally at the time which can only serve to negatively escalate a situation.

This useful technique which I call 'Watch Your Mouth' can help us respond in a much more positive way to tricky or intense conversations. These might be with family or friends, or even with colleagues at work.
