We recently had some requests to post our protein balls recipes following a Nutrition talk we did for one of our clients, Office Space in Town - Monument. On the day we were talking all things diet, alcohol, how to stay healthy in the office and how to bulletproof yourself for a big night out! Across the course of the talk we also provided some healthy treats; our Protein Balls as well as our Gluten and Dairy free Lemon Slices which always go down well (see Lemon Slices Post!)

Healthy treats all lined up pre-talk!

On the day we made 2 different protein balls:

Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls

On the day we also coated these in dessicated coconut

Recipe for 15 balls:

  • 3 tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 scoops whey protein
  • 250g raisins
  • 50g almonds
  • 100g cashew nuts
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp Pip & Nut almond and coconut butter
  • ~50g dessicated coconut
Combine all the ingredients and blend til you have a sticky ball then form mini balls and roll in dessicated coconut to finish!

You could also roll the balls in other toppings like sesame seeds!

Chia Seed Oat Balls

Our chia seed energy balls are super tasty, take minutes to make and are the perfect post workout snack or for on the go!

For around 10 balls:

  • 75g oats
  • 60g chia seeds
  • 2 scoops whey protein
  • 150g raisins
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Mix all the ingredients together, form into balls and then gently roll in some cacao powder. Once finished they look and taste a bit like a healthy chocolate truffle!
